I’m a new blogger at wordpress. Your goals are the very reason I started blogging. I don’t know what criteria you use when inviting someone new but want you to know each of your comments greatly encouraged me. You do not convey a message of having arrived, but ones who are still searching, longing, waiting and simultaneously venturing out there ever so vulnerably. Thanks for the encouragement.

I am a nature photographer and have begun to write poems – often as descriptions to some of my images. I would like to become more proficient at writing and blogging. Is there a group I can join up with?

Hi Barbara,
There are many writer’s groups on yahoogroups.com that you can find. The North Texas Christian Writers’ group is also a great place to find groups that meet in your area. What part of FW do you live in? You can email me directly to talk more: spaghettipie (at) yahoo (dot) com.

Hello, I like your web site. I have done some professional writing, never been published in print, but much of my work has been broadcast on radio. (Commercials, news items, documentaries, tributes, essays, humor and so on) I have been a career broadcaster but have recently felt as though I am “blackballed” from the industry, largely due to a shrinking workforce. Please consider me for membership. (My web site is satire, in case you were wondering) Thanks, Ed

One more afterthought if I may, to snowbluebonnet who mentioned her recent computer crash. Alas! I too have suffered such a fate. Might I suggest setting up a web site or two to store all that information and data. There are many available, and you don’t necessarily have to make them public. Also numerous data vaults available online but I think you have to pay for those. Plenty of free web hosting available though. Contact me via email if you need details.
